*Hotel Villa Grancassa* This magnificent hotel was originally built as a house over three hundred years ago on top of much older stone foundations. Its history explains why the modern and functional hotel blends so seamlessly with the feeling of a massive stone residence, with lofty ceilings and stairwells, ornate carvings and embellishments and yet all this houses modern kitchens and perfect hygiene and plumbing! The three storey hotel has 26 double rooms and one suite. All have en-suite shower/bath rooms, colour television, mini-bar and room service. On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge and a magnificent formal dining room. Outside, the gardens are cool, green and beautiful.

				*Hotel La Grotto* A highly regarded local restaurant for more than twenty five years, La Grotto is now also a superb comfortable hotel and conference centre just below the village of San Donato. The hotel takes its name from the caves into which the original building was constructed - and these remarkable features and the excellent but inexpensive food and wines attract people from all over the area. The twenty-room hotel was added just three years ago. The high-pitched “alpine” architecture of the new building blends beautifully with the older restaurant and then into the natural magnificence of the area. *Pension Lilliana* is a five double-room pension in a beautiful ancient building in the heart of San Donato. This is for those who want a classic old building with lofty ceilings, simple decor and an Italian jumble of furniture, colours and styles. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
