Hotel Villa Grancassa
was originally built as a magnificent house over three hundred
years ago on top of much older stone foundations. It remained in
the Grancassa family for many generations until a brother and
his two sisters died without descendants and left the building
to the diocese of Frosinone. |

For several years the building was used as a
training centre for the clergy only being converted into a hotel
and then passing to the present owners ten years ago. This
history explains why the modern and functional hotel blends so
seamlessly with the feeling of a massive stone residence, with
lofty ceilings and stairwells, ornate carvings and
embellishments and yet all this houses modern kitchens and
perfect hygiene and plumbing! |

On the ground floor there is a comfortable
lounge a magnificent formal dining room seating 60 people and a
fully equipped conference/presentation room that can seat over
100 delegates in comfort. On the lower ground floor is a
banqueting hall seating 200 which opens out onto the gardens for
open-air functions and weddings etc. |

Outside, the gardens are cool, green and
beautiful. Amongst the pine trees there is a “Bocce” bowling
pitch and full size tennis courts. For the less active there are
numerous shaded areas in which to sit and read and contemplate. |
